WORK WITH ME

REHABILITATION SHOULDN'T END WITH "YOU'RE GOOD TO GO."

If you've been injured, had surgery, lived with persistent pain or simply lost confidence in your body, returning to exercise can feel daunting.

You might have already seen a physiotherapist.

You may know what is wrong.

You may even have been discharged.

But there is a big difference between being medically cleared and feeling physically capable.

That is where I can help.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with people who want to become stronger and more capable but need a more considered approach to training.

That includes people:

• returning after injury

• returning after surgery

• managing an old injury

• lacking confidence in traditional gyms

• experiencing recurring niggles

• rebuilding after a long period away from exercise

• wanting to return to sport

• wanting to regain strength as they get older

• looking for intelligent strength and conditioning rather than punishment-based workouts

You do not need to be an athlete.

You do not need to already be fit.

You simply need to want to improve.

YOUR FIRST STEP

REHAB & PERFORMANCE CONSULTATION

Before I prescribe anything, I want to understand you.

Your injury history.

Your training history.

What you currently struggle with.

What you are worried about.

What you have already tried.

And most importantly:

What do you want your body to be able to do again?

From there, we establish the right starting point.

The goal is not to find everything that is wrong with you.

The goal is to establish what we can build.

THE PROCESS

  • 1. ASSESS

We look at your current movement, strength, capacity and confidence.

We identify what may be limiting you and establish a realistic starting point.

  • 2. REBUILD

We introduce appropriate movements and loading strategies to rebuild confidence and physical capacity.

  • 3. STRENGTHEN

Training becomes progressively more challenging as your body adapts.

  • 4. PERFORM

We begin moving you towards the things you actually want to do.

That might mean returning to sport.

    Returning to the gym.

    Running again.

Or simply living your life without constantly thinking about your injury.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT MAKING YOU DEPENDENT ON ME.

The aim is the opposite.

I want you to understand your body better.

I want you to become stronger.

I want you to become confident training again.

And ultimately I want you to reach a point where exercise becomes something you can enjoy rather than something you fear.

For many people, the next stage of that journey happens inside U21.

My gym in Portsmouth provides structured strength and conditioning in a coached environment where people can continue progressing long after the initial rehabilitation phase.

Rebuild with me. Then keep building.
